In Portugal, HotelsGift is issued in euros and gives the recipient access to a wide catalogue of hotels, villas and apartments, with travel brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Wyndham, Fairmont, Accor and IHG. The card is redeemed online only at hotelsgiftcard.com.

The card can be loaded with any amount from EUR 20 up to EUR 2,500, so you can set the value to fit a particular reward or payout. The provider's terms mention a validity period, but this page does not state a specific duration.

To use it, the recipient opens an account at hotelsgiftcard.com, clicks Book Trip | Redeem, searches for a place to stay, enters the traveller details, then pastes the eGift code into the Redeem eGift card code box at checkout and confirms. HotelsGift also supports split online payments, letting the recipient combine up to two cards on a booking.

This card is only for Portugal and is separate from the HotelsGift EU card and other country editions. Through GIFQ you can send it in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API to people in Portugal.
