The Global Hotel Card for Germany is a prepaid hotel card in euros, issued for use on www.GlobalHotelCard.com. It gives access to a wide selection of hotels around the world, covering major hotel brands, resorts, boutique properties, bed and breakfasts and more, all available through the site.

Cards are loaded with any amount between EUR 50 and EUR 1000 and hold no stated expiry date. The card is issued for Germany and can only be used in euros; it is not interchangeable with the French or Spanish editions of the same card, even though those markets also use euros.

A recipient in Germany redeems the card online at GlobalHotelCard.com. They choose the currency matching the card, enter the 19 digit card code and 4 digit PIN, and apply the value as full or partial payment for a hotel reservation. Up to four cards can be combined per booking, with any remaining balance payable by credit card. Reservations are confirmed by email from Global Hotel Card and the hotel's central reservation system.

Businesses in Germany can use GIFQ to send the Global Hotel Card as a payout, reward or incentive to employees, customers or partners based in Germany. Cards can be issued in bulk from the GIFQ dashboard or individually through the API, giving a practical way to compensate or recognise people with a travel benefit.
