The Global Hotel Card for Spain is a prepaid card in euros that is redeemed exclusively on the GlobalHotelCard.com website. That site draws its hotel inventory from the Expedia Affiliate Network, giving the cardholder access to a vast selection of hotels globally, including major chains, resorts, boutique hotels and bed and breakfasts.

For the Spanish market, cards are issued in euros with any value from EUR 50 to EUR 1000. The card's terms state that dollar-denominated cards do not expire, but non-dollar cards may have an expiry date; this card's fact sheet does not specify an expiry, so the card is considered valid until used.

To redeem, the recipient in Spain goes to GlobalHotelCard.com, chooses the currency that matches the card, and enters the 19 digit code and 4 digit PIN to pay for the hotel booking. The card value can cover the full amount or only part of it, with the balance payable by credit card. Up to four cards can be combined per reservation, and confirmations are sent by email from Global Hotel Card and the hotel.

Using GIFQ, a business can send Global Hotel Cards to individuals in Spain as a payout for work, as a reward for a team, or as an incentive for customers.
