ALTEX is one of Romania's best-known electronics retailers, with a wide range of consumer electronics, home appliances, IT and gaming products. A gift card here is a practical choice for rewards and payouts because recipients can use it for something substantial: a new phone accessory, a kitchen appliance, or an upgrade to their home office. The card works both online at altex.ro and in physical Altex and Media Galaxy stores, so it suits people anywhere in Romania, whether they prefer to browse in person or order from home.

The card is issued in Romanian lei with three fixed face values: 100 RON, 200 RON and 500 RON. It expires 6 months after issuance, which is enough time for a planned purchase but not something to sit on. You can use up to two gift cards on a single order, so two cards can cover a more expensive item, but you cannot combine more than that.

To use the card, the recipient enters the code at checkout on altex.ro or presents it at the till in an ALTEX or Media Galaxy store. The card is transferable, so the person you send it to can pass it on if they wish. There is no mention of any product exclusions in the terms, but it is worth reminding recipients to check the balance and expiry before they shop.

Through GIFQ you can send ALTEX Romania cards one at a time or in bulk to employees, customers, research participants or affiliates. If you are paying out earnings to people in Romania, a RON-denominated card avoids forcing them to convert currency. For a team reward, a 200 RON or 500 RON card for each person is a tangible thank-you they can spend on something they actually want from a store they trust.

This card is specific to Romania and cannot be used outside the country. ALTEX does not operate internationally, so if you need to reward people elsewhere, you would need a different card for that market.
