GIFQ
Use cases / Player & community rewards

Reward the players who help your game grow.

Thank playtesters, beta participants, moderators and contest winners with rewards they choose themselves. Send an amount by email, and GIFQ handles delivery and redemption across the markets your community calls home.

Contributions in chat, streaming and gaming communities lead to a thank-you reward, with a pixel cursor choosing Steam from Steam, Amazon and Uber.

Make recognition easier to deliver across your community.

Your next playtest might include someone who wants game credit, someone who would prefer a meal and someone who needs a reward in another currency. One preselected gift card rarely suits the whole group.

With GIFQ, you set the budget and the available rewards. Each player chooses from the options for their payout, while your team follows the campaign in one place.

Send rewards to a whole cohort

Add recipients in the dashboard or upload a CSV with their email, amount and currency. Gift-card campaigns support up to 1,000 recipients per order.

Offer more than game credit

Players can choose from available gaming, retail, food delivery and subscription products. Check the brands in their countries before you launch the campaign.

Choose amounts that suit the occasion

Run small playtest incentives and larger contest prizes through the same account. Denominations vary by product, so you can check the available amounts as you plan.

Build rewards into your existing tools

Your community platform, CRM or backend can trigger payouts through the API. Webhooks keep your systems informed as recipients claim and redeem their rewards.

Turn a useful contribution into a considered thank-you.

A playtest, a bug report and a month of community moderation are different contributions. Your programme can recognise each on its own terms while using the same reward-delivery process.

  1. Define what you are recognising

Your community team sets the criteria and budget, then approves the people whose contributions qualify. A playtest cohort, moderator group or contest can have its own reward amounts and message without changing the delivery process.

  2. Prepare the invitation

The campaign brings together product selection, approved emails and assigned amounts. Its message connects the reward to the contribution, so the person receiving it understands why your team is thanking them.

  3. Let the recipient make the choice

GIFQ delivers the invitation and handles the claim flow. After email verification, the recipient browses the enabled rewards and chooses a supported value within their balance.

Recognition stays personal as delivery grows.

The community relationship belongs to your team. The delivery process should give that team more time for the people it serves.

Make the invitation feel connected to your community.

Tell a recipient what they helped with: a particular playtest, an accepted contribution or a period of moderation. A clear explanation helps them recognise the invitation and understand the amount without needing to contact a community manager.

GIFQ lets you prepare the campaign email and preview it before sending. The reward itself can offer a wider choice than game credit alone, with regional retailers and digital products available according to your campaign selection.

Keep programme questions and delivery questions clear.

Good records let you respond without asking recipients to explain their contribution again.

Someone disputes their eligibility
Review the decision in your own community process. A reward status cannot determine whether a bug report or contribution qualified.
An invitation has not been used
Sent and viewed status gives the community team context for a follow-up. The recipient record connects that conversation to the original invitation and email.
A preferred brand is unavailable
The recipient can choose another enabled product that fits their market and balance. Check the regional catalog before advertising a specific reward.

Build a repeatable programme around a real contribution.

Start with one group, such as an approved playtest cohort. Choose its reward budget and target markets, prepare a recognisable invitation, and test the claim journey before expanding.

For recurring programmes, your own tools can send approved instructions through the API. That connection belongs to your workflow; it does not require GIFQ to read community conversations or decide who deserves a reward.

What you need to know

Can we reward playtesters and beta participants?

Yes. Add the participant list in the dashboard or create payouts through your own system. Each person receives a redemption link and chooses from the available rewards.

How do UGC and fan-art contest prizes work?

You choose the payout amount for each winner and send it by email or claim link. Winners redeem from the options enabled for the programme, while your team tracks the status of each prize.

Do you carry gaming brands players actually want?

The catalog includes gaming products such as Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo eShop, Razer Gold, Discord Nitro and regional top-ups such as PUBG Mobile UC. Availability varies by market. Players can also choose from available non-gaming products.

Our community skews young. Does that break anything?

Gift-card rewards do not require your team to collect bank details. You still need to check the age, country and account requirements of the products you offer, particularly for younger players.
