About Amazon.co.jp Japan
Amazon.co.jp is the dominant online marketplace in Japan, used for everything from electronics and books to daily necessities. This card lets recipients in Japan choose from millions of items on the local site, with delivery options that reflect the country’s high standards for speed and convenience.
The card is issued in Japanese yen and can be set to any amount from ¥3 to ¥300,000, so it works for a small thank-you or a larger payout. There is no fixed denomination constraint, and the balance has no stated expiry in the terms provided, though recipients should check their account for any specific expiry note.
To redeem, the recipient copies the security code, follows the redemption URL, and pastes the code to receive a claim code. The claim code is then entered at checkout on Amazon.co.jp. The card must be used on Amazon.co.jp and cannot be used to buy other gift cards or pay Amazon Prime membership fees.
This card is for recipients in Japan only. It is not interchangeable with any other Amazon card, including the Amazon Germany or Amazon USA cards, which are tied to their own storefronts and currencies.
Through GIFQ you can send these cards in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API, which suits compensating Japanese research participants, rewarding employees in Japan, or thanking loyal customers.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Use the brand’s instructions to prepare a clear handover to the recipient, including any account or redemption-channel requirements. Ask our team about expiry if it is not listed, then include that information with the reward.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
