About Amazon South Africa
Amazon.co.za is the local Amazon storefront for South Africa, with a catalogue covering books, electronics, music, clothing, video games, software, sports, outdoors, toys, baby products, computers, office supplies, home and garden, jewellery, beauty, cell phones and accessories, home improvement, camera and photo, pet supplies and more.
The card is issued in South African rand (ZAR). You can set any custom amount between ZAR 1 and ZAR 6,000, so the value can be matched exactly to a specific payout or incentive. The card is valid for one year from the date of issue.
A recipient redeems the card by visiting www.amazon.co.za/redeem and entering the claim code. The balance is applied automatically to eligible orders at checkout, and the claim code can also be entered directly during checkout. If an order costs more than the gift card balance, the recipient pays the remaining amount with another payment method. Restrictions apply; see amazon.co.za/gc-legal.
This card is for South Africa only. It is not interchangeable with the Amazon cards for other countries, such as the Amazon United Kingdom or Amazon UAE cards, even though they share the brand.
Through GIFQ you can send Amazon South Africa cards in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API. That suits paying out earnings to South African research participants, rewarding employees, or compensating customers with a credit they can use on Amazon.co.za.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Use the brand’s instructions to prepare a clear handover to the recipient, including any account or redemption-channel requirements. Ask our team about expiry if it is not listed, then include that information with the reward.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
