About Best Western
Best Western is one of the world's largest hotel chains, with a dense footprint across North America and Europe and a steady presence in other regions. A Best Western gift card is a hotel voucher: the recipient presents it at a participating property and it is applied to the bill, covering room charges, dining, and other hotel-owned services. More than 4,000 BWH Hotels in over 100 countries take part, though the World Hotels collection is excluded. The value never expires, which suits people who may not book a trip right away.
GIFQ sells the Best Western card in ten markets: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and the United States. Each market has its own card with its own currency and issuing rules. A card bought for Austria is denominated in euros and a card bought for the United States is denominated in US dollars; a euro card cannot be used as a US dollar card and vice versa.
Every market allows any amount from 25 to 500 in the local currency, so you can fund a one-night stay, a long weekend, or a substantial travel credit without being forced into fixed tiers. The cards do not expire, and they are fully transferable. That combination makes them workable for people who may not travel monthly and for rewards that can be passed on if the original recipient cannot use them.
The card is a practical way to pay travel-related compensation or incentives across countries. A company with research participants in Germany, freelancers in Canada, and sales staff in Spain can send each person a card for their own market in their own currency from one GIFQ dashboard, in bulk or one at a time through the API. The recipient gets a hotel voucher that is valid worldwide, not just in the issuing country, so it works for a business trip, a domestic holiday, or a stay abroad.
To choose the right market for a recipient, look at where the recipient is based and what currency they live in. A person in Italy should normally receive the Italy card in euros, even if they plan to travel to the United States. Each market page lists amounts, currency, and redemption conditions, so check the page for the country you need before sending.
The card is not exchangeable for cash, and it cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. For details on each market, see the individual country pages. GIFQ handles delivery and technology, while Best Western provides the hotel network and card terms.
