About BitCard EUR
BitCard EUR is a prepaid card that gives the recipient a set amount of Bitcoin when redeemed at bitcards.com/redeem. It is available in 19 countries that use the euro, including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Portugal. The card is sold in euros and cannot be used outside the eurozone; the GBP version is a separate product for the United Kingdom only.
You can order any amount between €50 and €500, and the card never expires. Redemption is entirely online, so recipients do not need to visit a store or download an app just to claim the value, though they will need to follow the steps on the BitCard redemption site to receive the Bitcoin.
For a business sending rewards or payouts to people across the eurozone, BitCard EUR is useful when recipients are comfortable with cryptocurrency or when you want to offer an alternative to cash or vouchers. It works for rewarding a remote team spread over several eurozone countries, compensating research participants in places like Germany and France, or paying freelance contributors who prefer Bitcoin. Because redemption is online, the physical location of the recipient matters less than the country of residence.
Through GIFQ, you can send BitCard EUR in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time via the API. This suits ongoing incentive programmes, one-off campaigns, or back office payouts across all 19 eligible countries. Each card is issued in euros, and the amount you set is the amount the recipient can redeem.
Note that this card is not interchangeable with BitCard GBP, so if you have recipients in the United Kingdom as well, you will need to order the GBP product separately.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Use the brand’s instructions to prepare a clear handover to the recipient, including any account or redemption-channel requirements. Ask our team about expiry if it is not listed, then include that information with the reward.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
