Dymocks is Australia's longest-running bookseller, with stores in most major cities and a well-stocked online shop at dymocks.com.au. The gift card works for a team member in Brisbane, a research participant in Perth, or a customer in a regional town: they can use it toward books, e-books, stationery, games, and other items sold by Dymocks, in store or online.

Businesses can choose any face value from $20 to $500 AUD. The card is valid for 36 months from issue, which is longer than many retail cards and gives recipients time to choose something they actually want. It is not reloadable, and any unused balance after expiry is not refunded or credited.

Recipients redeem the card at any participating Dymocks store in Australia or on the Dymocks website. Stores are not obliged to accept the card for transactions under $5, so it suits purchases of a book or more rather than tiny stationery items. The card cannot be exchanged for cash, and lost or stolen cards are not replaced.

Dymocks is a natural fit for rewards in publishing, education, and knowledge work. If you pay contributors to a research panel, run a long-service program for staff, or thank customers after a feedback exercise, a Dymocks card gives people a reason to treat themselves to a book they would not normally buy. It is less suitable for recipients who do not read or who prefer a general cash-equivalent card.

With GIFQ you can send Dymocks cards one at a time through the API or in bulk from the dashboard, which is useful when you owe many people a thank you at once. The card is AUD only and valid only in Australia; it cannot be used at Dymocks stores in other countries, and GIFQ does not convert it to other currencies.
