About Eat the World Germany

Eat the World runs culinary walking tours through German cities, combining small tastings at local restaurants and cafés with history, culture, and architecture along the route. For a business sending rewards or payouts in Germany, this card works when you want to give people an experience rather than cash: a guided tour is a concrete, social activity that fits a team event, a customer loyalty gift, or a research incentive.

The card is issued in euros with three fixed face values: €15, €25, and €50. You cannot load a custom amount. The balance is valid for three years from purchase, which gives recipients some flexibility but is not indefinite. One card covers one participant; if you need to reward a group, you would send multiple cards or have recipients combine them when booking.

Recipients redeem the card by booking a tour directly with Eat the World, choosing from over 50 cities across Germany. The terms of the provider apply, so the final booking rules, tour availability, and any age or dietary restrictions are set by Eat the World. This is a Germany-only card: it does not work for tours outside Germany, and there are no sibling market cards to swap it with.

Through GIFQ, you can send this card to many recipients in one batch from the dashboard, or issue single cards via the API when your own system triggers a payout. Common uses include compensating German research participants, rewarding employees after a project, or thanking customers in a loyalty programme. Because the card is tied to a scheduled tour, it suits recipients who live in or travel to Germany and can plan a few hours around the experience.

One practical point: the card is for an in-person, guided activity. If your recipients are remote, homebound, or spread across many countries, a German food tour card will not fit. But for a German team or customer base, it offers a local, social reward that cash often fails to deliver.
