El Corte Inglés Spain gift cards

El Corte Inglés is Spain's best-known department store group, the default choice for everything from fashion and electronics to groceries and travel. For anyone living in Spain, a gift card here is as close to cash as a branded card can get, while still feeling like a deliberate, thoughtful reward. It's a sensible default when your recipients are spread across Spanish cities and you don't want to guess their tastes.

The card works as a digital code with an associated PIN. Recipients can use it online at elcorteingles.es for most products, with some exclusions: mattresses, custom or made-to-measure furniture, air conditioning, flowers and gifts, and supermarket items. If they prefer to shop in a physical El Corte Inglés centre, they can load the code into the El Corte Inglés app as a gift card and pay with it there.

Face values are fixed at 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 200 or 500 euros. There is no expiry date, so recipients can take their time. That's especially useful for payouts and rewards, where you want the value to sit safely until the recipient is ready to use it.

This card is only valid in Spain. It cannot be used on the international website or in stores outside the country. If your recipients are abroad, you will need a different card for their market.

Through GIFQ you can send El Corte Inglés cards in bulk or one at a time by API. Use it to pay out earnings to Spanish contractors, reward a sales team in Madrid or Barcelona, thank customers after a project, or compensate research participants. The recipient gets the code by email and can start shopping immediately.

One practical note: the code and PIN are single-use, so once used, the card is spent. It can be combined with other payment methods, but the full value must be used in one go. If the purchase is less than the card value, the remaining balance stays on the card for later, as the card is cumulative.
