Etsy gift cards

Etsy is a marketplace for handmade, vintage, and craft items sold by independent shops. A card gives the recipient freedom to pick something personal, from jewellery and art to home decor and craft supplies. For a business, it works as a flexible reward that feels more individual than cash, while supporting small sellers.

GIFQ offers Etsy cards in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Each market has its own card in its own currency: Canadian dollars card usable in Canada, British pounds card usable in the UK, and US dollars card usable in the United States. Cards cannot be used across borders, so a card bought for the UK will not work in Canada or the US.

Amounts and expiry are set per market. For example, you can issue a Canada card from 15 CAD to 500 CAD, and a US card from 15 USD to 500 USD. None of the cards have an expiry date. When you send a card through GIFQ, you pick the market that matches the recipient's country. If someone works in the UK, choose the UK card. If your recipients are spread across these three countries, you can order the relevant cards from one dashboard and send them in bulk, or you can send them one at a time through the API.

Common uses include paying out earnings to sellers or affiliates in their local market, rewarding employees with something they can choose themselves, or thanking customers with a gift card to a marketplace full of independent goods. Because Etsy cards do not expire, recipients can take their time to find the right item.

If your recipients value choice and handmade or vintage items, Etsy is a strong fit. It is less suitable when people need cash or groceries, but for celebration, gratitude, or creative incentives, it gives a meaningful alternative.
