Fonic is a no-frills prepaid mobile brand in Germany, part of the O2 network. For recipients in Germany, a Fonic top-up is straightforward phone credit, not a gift they need to think about. It is a sensible payout when you need to transfer a small, useful amount to someone whose mobile service matters to them.

The card is fixed at 20 or 30 EUR. It is a single denomination per order; you cannot choose an amount in between. There is no expiry stated, so the credit should remain available until it is used, but the recipient needs an active Fonic SIM to apply it. The code does not work on other networks or in other countries.

Redeeming takes under a minute. The recipient enters *103* followed by the 12- or 16-digit code and #, then presses call. The credit is applied instantly and confirmed on the handset. There is no app, website or physical card involved, so the recipient only needs the code, which you provide through the delivery method you choose in GIFQ.

This card works only in Germany and only on Fonic. It is not a general-purpose voucher and cannot be converted to cash, used to pay a bill, or transferred between networks. If your recipients are spread across other European markets, you will need a different card for each country.
