About GetYourGuide
GetYourGuide is the marketplace people turn to when they want to book tours, museum visits, day trips and activities wherever they are travelling. A GetYourGuide card gives the recipient a balance they can spend towards any experience sold on the platform in their country, from a walking tour in their own city to an excursion on a trip abroad. It is a reward that feels personal because it funds an experience rather than a product.
GIFQ offers GetYourGuide cards in nine European markets: Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Portugal. Each market has its own card. A card issued for Germany cannot be used on the Spanish checkout, and amounts are fixed per market and currency: EUR in all markets except Switzerland, which uses CHF. For example, Germany offers face values of 20, 50, 100, 200 and 250 EUR, while Switzerland offers only 50 and 100 CHF. Expiry also varies by market; some cards are valid for three years, while others have no expiry stated. Check the individual market pages for the full details.
When you send GetYourGuide cards through GIFQ, you choose the market before ordering. Pick the country where the recipient will redeem the card, not the country they are travelling to. A remote worker in Spain will need a Spanish card even if they use it on holiday in Italy. If your recipients are spread across countries, issue separate orders for each market.
Businesses use GetYourGuide cards to recognise employees, incentivise research participants, or send a thank-you to customers and partners. Because the card is fixed to a market and currency, it works well when you know where each recipient lives. You can send cards in bulk from the GIFQ dashboard or individually through the API, so the process fits whether you are rewarding a hundred people or paying a single freelancer.
GetYourGuide is a strong choice when you want a reward that feels like a treat rather than cash. It is less suitable if recipients need flexible spending on everyday goods, but for teams that value travel, or for user research where an experience is more motivating than a voucher for a shop, it gives people something they will remember using.
