About Global Auto Card powered by Expedia Portugal
The Portugal edition of the Global Auto Card powered by Expedia is a car rental gift card issued by Global Hotel Card, Inc. It is meant for recipients in Portugal and is separate from the other country editions, such as Spain and France. The cards are not interchangeable.
You can load any amount from 25 EUR to 1,000 EUR. There are no fixed denominations, so you can set the value precisely to match a reward tier or a payout amount. The card never expires.
Recipients redeem the card online at globalautocard.com. They enter the 16-digit gift card code and 8-digit PIN to pay for a rental car booking in full or in part. Up to four gift cards can be used per reservation, and any remaining balance can be paid with a major credit card. The card is not valid at expedia.com or individual rental car agency websites.
Through GIFQ, you can order the Portugal card in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API. This is a practical way to distribute incentives or compensation to people in Portugal, such as paying out earnings to remote workers or rewarding a local team.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Review the expiry information shown and the brand’s instructions. Check whether redemption requires an account or a particular channel. Deliver those instructions with the reward so the recipient knows how to use it.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
