About Global Experiences Card
The Global Experiences Card turns a payment or reward into something a person chooses and remembers. Powered by Expedia, it opens access to 350,000 tours, activities, attractions, events and experiences in more than 200 countries. Instead of another voucher for a specific shop, the recipient picks an experience that suits them, from a walking tour to a spa day to a concert.
GIFQ offers this card in two markets: Belgium and New Zealand. Each market has its own card with its own currency, amounts, and expiry rules. A card bought for Belgium cannot be spent in New Zealand and vice versa. The Belgian card is issued in euros with fixed values of €50, €100, or €250 and is valid for 12 months. The New Zealand card is issued in New Zealand dollars and can be set to any amount between NZD 25 and NZD 700, with no expiry. Choose the market that matches your recipient's location and currency.
This card is a strong fit for rewarding employees, research participants, or customers when you want to give something more personal than cash. For someone in Belgium, a €100 card could cover a dinner experience or a museum tour. For someone in New Zealand, a NZD 200 card could contribute to a weekend adventure. It also works well as a payout for small earnings or a one-off thank-you where a tangible experience has more impact than a bank transfer.
You can order cards through the GIFQ dashboard by uploading a list of recipients, or issue one card at a time using the API. Because both markets are handled from one place, you can run a single campaign that reaches people in New Zealand and Belgium without managing separate suppliers. The delivery is handled by GIFQ, and the recipient redeems on the Global Experiences Card website where the Expedia inventory is listed.
When you need to send this card to multiple people across these countries, start by checking the market pages for Belgium and New Zealand. Those pages carry the exact face values, expiry, and redemption details for each market. From there, you can place orders for both markets in the same session and track them together.
