About Home Box
Home Box is where recipients turn a gift card into something concrete for a home or workspace: a sofa, a desk, a lamp, a child's bed. Part of the Landmark Group, it has made affordable, modern furniture and homeware accessible across the Middle East. GIFQ offers Home Box cards in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, in Bahraini dinar and UAE dirham.
Each market is its own card. A Home Box Bahrain card can only be redeemed in Bahrain, and a Home Box UAE card can only be redeemed in the UAE. Amounts, currency, and expiry are set per market. In Bahrain you can load any amount from BHD 5 to 450, while in the UAE the card comes in fixed denominations: AED 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1000. Both cards are valid for 12 months. The market pages list the exact amounts and redemption rules for each country.
To choose the right market for a recipient, look at where they are and where they would use the card. The card works in stores and online for that market's Home Box and other Shukran-participating brands, so the person needs a presence in that country: a Bahraini address, a UAE phone number, a place to receive deliveries or visit a showroom. If your recipients are in Manama, select Bahrain; if they are in Dubai, select UAE.
Home Box fits B2B use when the reward should be practical and visible. It works well for paying out earnings to contractors or gig workers who might use the card to furnish a home office, incentivising sales teams with something they can put in their living room, or thanking employees with a new mattress or wardrobe. A Home Box card tends to be a considered purchase rather than an impulse, so it suits milestones: a work anniversary, a project completion, a new hire's first month.
Through GIFQ you can send Home Box cards to people in Bahrain and the UAE from one place. Use the dashboard to upload a list and send cards in bulk, or use the API to attach a card to your own payout flow. You buy in the local currency for each market, so a Bahraini recipient gets a BHD card and a UAE recipient gets an AED card. No need to hold foreign currency or manage two separate supplier relationships.
