Inspire Travel gift cards

Inspire Travel gives recipients a budget to spend on a trip rather than a fixed product. Inspire is a licensed travel agency and tour operator, so the card works across its own packages, flights, hotels, cruises and extras such as parking and lounges. The recipient books through Inspire’s website or travel experts, which means they keep the flexibility to choose something that fits them; the card cannot be used to book directly with airlines or hotel brands. For a business, this works well when you want to reward someone with an experience rather than cash, or when travel fits your audience, such as sales incentives, long-service awards or a customer prize draw.

GIFQ offers Inspire Travel cards in seven markets: Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland. There is also a multi-country EUR card that covers Germany, Spain, France, Ireland and Italy. All values are set in EUR except Poland, which uses PLN. Each market has its own website and card, so an Inspire Travel Germany card will not work on the French site, and amounts do not transfer between markets.

Every market is its own card with its own currency, amount range and expiry. In most markets you can load any amount from EUR 1 to EUR 3000; in Poland the range is PLN 1 to PLN 3000. Expiry is usually 18 months from issue, and some market pages note that expiry can be extended through Inspire Customer Service. Check the individual market page before you order, because the exact rules vary.

Choosing the right market for a recipient is usually simple: pick the country where they live or will book travel. If they are in one of the five countries covered by the multi-country EUR card, that card gives you a single product for several markets, but it is still distinct from the single-market cards. If you pay people in several countries, you can order one card per market through GIFQ and send them all from the same campaign.

Through GIFQ you can send Inspire Travel cards in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API. That suits programmes like paying research participants, rewarding employees across a region or running a customer incentive where the reward is a trip rather than cash. Because each card is specific to a market, you need to segment your recipients by country when you place the order.
