About Madame Wu Australia
Madame Wu is a modern Asian restaurant on Eagle Street in Brisbane’s CBD, known for its dramatic fit-out, extensive wine list and views over the Brisbane River. For a business sending rewards or payouts in Australia, a Madame Wu card is a way to give someone a memorable meal rather than a generic voucher, provided they can get to Brisbane.
Cards are available in Australian dollars with fixed values from $50 to $500. They expire 36 months after issue. They are redeemable only at the Madame Wu venue at 71 Eagle Street, Brisbane, for food and drinks, with no cash refunds or exchange.
Recipients simply present the card when paying at the restaurant. The cards are treated as cash: if lost or stolen, they cannot be replaced. There is no limit on combining cards, but a customer can redeem no more than $1000 in gift cards per transaction, per table. Cards cannot be resold or bartered for cash.
This card suits in-person rewards for employees, clients or event attendees in Brisbane. It is a poor fit for remote workers, interstate recipients or anyone who cannot visit the restaurant in person, and it is not usable as a general-purpose payout.
Through GIFQ, you can order Madame Wu cards in the listed denominations and send them to recipients by email as part of a bulk reward campaign or one-off thank-you. GIFQ handles the distribution; you choose the value and the audience. Cards are unique to Australia and cannot be used at any other venue or market.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Review the expiry information shown and the brand’s instructions. Check whether redemption requires an account or a particular channel. Deliver those instructions with the reward so the recipient knows how to use it.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
