NZ Restaurants and Dining New Zealand gift cards

The NZ Restaurants and Dining card is a digital gift card for New Zealand. It is powered by Gift A Restaurant, and the cardholder uses it to choose a restaurant and then redeem the restaurant's own eGift card in the venue. The redemption happens online at giftarestaurant.co.nz, where the card can be switched for the restaurant eGift card of the holder's choice.

The card is available in New Zealand dollars with face values of $50, $100, $150, $200, $250, $300 and $500. It has an expiry of 36 months. Because it is a New Zealand market card, it is only usable in New Zealand and is not interchangeable with any other market's card.

Recipients receive the card digitally, then go to giftarestaurant.co.nz to switch it for a restaurant eGift card. Once they have the restaurant's eGift card, they present it in the venue, confident that it will be accepted. The terms note that switch gift cards may only be used for purchases on that website and cannot be redeemed directly in venues.
