Pappa's USA gift cards

Pappa's is a Texas-born restaurant group with more than 80 locations across the United States, known for big portions and a menu that covers Tex-Mex, fresh seafood, real Texas barbecue and dry-aged steaks. For a business sending rewards or payouts to people in the US, it works best for recipients who live near one of its restaurants, which are concentrated in Texas and a handful of other states. It is less suitable for a remote or nationwide workforce where a physical restaurant visit is not practical.

The card is issued in US dollars with any amount from $10 to $500, and the sender chooses the exact value. There is no expiration date and no fees, so a recipient can use it when it suits them and the full balance stays on the card until spent.

Recipients redeem the card at any Pappas restaurant in the US by presenting the gift card page at the table. The restaurant manager needs to key the 19-digit gift card number into the point of sale system, so the card is not contactless or usable for online ordering or delivery. It should be treated as a physical-restaurant-only card, and the recipient needs to have the card number available, whether printed or on a phone.

Through GIFQ, a business can send Pappa's cards to US recipients one at a time or in bulk from the dashboard, or automatically through the API. Common uses include thanking US-based employees after a project, paying out earnings to creators or research participants who are near Pappas locations, or sending a customer appreciation reward to people in the brand's home market of Texas.

The card cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and lost cards may be replaced at the issuer's discretion with proof of purchase and the card number. There are no sibling cards for other countries, so this card is only for redemption in the United States.
