About Sony PlayStation

Sony PlayStation is one of the most recognized names in gaming. A PlayStation card is a practical reward for people who already own a PlayStation console or play on PC, because it adds spendable balance to a PlayStation Network account. The balance works across games, downloadable content, movies and TV shows on the PlayStation Store. For a business, it suits incentives aimed at gamers, playtesters, game reviewers, esports participants, or any group where a gaming credit is more welcome than cash.

GIFQ offers this brand in two markets: Romania and the United Arab Emirates. Each market is its own card with its own currency, fixed amounts and redemption rules. The Romanian card uses RON and offers amounts from 50 to 1000 lei. The UAE card uses US dollars and offers $10, $20, $50 and $100. A card bought for Romania cannot be used on a UAE PlayStation Network account, and vice versa. The market pages list the exact amounts and any expiry for each country.

Choosing the right market comes down to where the recipient's PlayStation Network account is registered. If someone has a Romanian PSN account, send the Romania card. If they have a UAE account, send the UAE card. When you are not sure, ask the recipient which country their account is tied to. Sending the wrong market card means the code will not redeem.

From the GIFQ dashboard you can upload a list of recipients and send cards in bulk, which is useful when you owe rewards to hundreds of people in one or both markets. Or you can integrate via the API and issue a card one at a time, for example when a user completes a research session or a streamer hits a milestone. Because each market is separate, a single campaign can include both Romanian and UAE recipients as long as you select the correct card for each person.

PlayStation cards work especially well for gaming communities, developer incentives, player rewards in tournaments, and user research panels that test console or PC games. They are less useful for general employee rewards in markets where gaming is not a shared interest, or where recipients prefer cash or multi-store vouchers. Still, for a targeted group of PlayStation users, this is a low-friction reward they can spend on something they likely want.
