About Primark
Primark gives recipients a way to choose their own reward from a broad range of fashion, beauty and home items at value prices. For a business, it works well when you want a widely recognised brand without implying a luxury or premium reward, and when your recipients are likely to live near one of Primark's stores in Europe or the United States.
GIFQ offers Primark gift cards in 14 markets: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, United Kingdom and the United States. Each market has its own card with its own currency, amount limits and expiry rules. A card purchased for one market cannot be spent in another, so the market you choose should match the country where the recipient will shop.
All cards allow any amount between a minimum and maximum within the local currency. In Belgium, for example, you can load any amount from EUR 5 to EUR 200. In Poland, the range is PLN 25 to PLN 750. The market pages list the minimum, maximum and expiry for each country, along with any restrictions such as vending machine exclusions.
Businesses use Primark through GIFQ to send rewards and payouts to people in several countries from one dashboard. That includes paying research participants, rewarding employees or contractors in their local currency, and giving customer incentives in markets where Primark is a familiar high street name. You can order in bulk for a list of recipients or issue cards one at a time via the API.
The right Primark card depends on the recipient's country, not the sender's. If you reward a team spread across France, Germany and the UK, you would send Primark France cards to recipients in France, Primark Germany cards to those in Germany and Primark United Kingdom cards to those in the UK. Each card is issued in the local currency, so the recipient does not have to think about exchange rates.
