Rakuten gift cards by market
About Rakuten
Rakuten TV is the streaming branch of the Rakuten group, known for pay-per-view access to new film releases, older titles and series without a subscription. Recipients who like cinema get a card they can apply toward a rental or purchase in their country. For a business, it works well as an individual thank-you or as part of a wider reward program aimed at people who enjoy entertainment at home.
GIFQ offers Rakuten gift cards in five markets: Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom. The cards are denominated in each country's local currency: CZK, EUR, PLN, RON and GBP. Each market operates independently, so a card bought for one country cannot be redeemed in another, and the amount and expiry differ by market. The Czech card is 152 CZK, for example, while the Italian card is 5 EUR and the UK card is 4.5 GBP. Check the market page for the exact amount, currency and validity before you order.
To choose the right market, ask where each recipient is based. A recipient in Poland needs the Poland card, and a recipient in Romania needs the Romania card. If your recipient list spans several countries, you can order each market separately from the same GIFQ dashboard. There is no requirement to send the same amount to everyone.
Businesses use these cards for several common cases. If you reimburse research participants or pay freelance contributors in CZK, sending a Rakuten Czech Republic card gives them a tangible film rental. If you run a multinational sales incentive with recipients in Rome, Warsaw, Bucharest and London, you can send each person the card for their market in their own currency from one place. Because the cards are fixed amounts, they are straightforward to budget and distribute.
Delivery works the same across all five markets. You can order many cards at once from the dashboard for a campaign or send one card at a time through the API when a recipient reaches a milestone. The card is delivered as a code the recipient enters on Rakuten TV. It is a low-friction reward for distributed teams or customer groups, provided the intended use is buying or renting video content.
Read the individual market pages for full details: amount, currency, expiry and the terms Rakuten TV applies. The card suites anyone who values a movie night over a generic voucher.
