Ripley Chile gift cards

Ripley is one of Chile's best-known department stores, selling clothing, home goods, electronics, and more through dozens of locations and its e-commerce site. For businesses sending value to people in Chile, it offers a broad catalogue your recipients can actually use, whether they shop in person at a mall or online.

Digital Ripley Chile gift cards come in any of three fixed denominations: 10,000, 50,000, or 80,000 CLP. They do not expire, so recipients can hold onto them until they find something worth buying. Because they are single-store cards, they only make sense for people who live in Chile or will be shopping there.

A recipient can redeem the card at any Ripley physical store in Chile or on Ripley.com, with one important exception: the card cannot be used for Mercado Ripley purchases. In a physical store, the recipient should mention it is a TRE. The card can be used together with ongoing promotions, but not with offers exclusive to Tarjeta Ripley payment. Online, it can only be combined with Tarjeta Ripley. The card cannot be used to buy another gift card.

One practical point: Ripley requires the coupon to be printed for use, even though the card is delivered digitally. If your recipients are not near a printer when they want to shop, this can be a friction point. For a mostly online or remote workforce, that limitation may matter.

This card is valid only in Chile and in Chilean pesos. It is not interchangeable with any other regional cards.
