About Ruokaboksi Finland
Ruokaboksi is a Finnish meal kit service that delivers the ingredients and recipes for 3 or 4 chosen dinners to the recipient's door every Monday. It is a practical card for a Finnish team or recipient group because it removes a recurring chore: planning and shopping for weekday meals. The service delivers to all regions of mainland Finland, which makes it a workable reward for distributed teams or nationwide research panels, but it does not deliver to Åland.
Cards are available in three fixed euro amounts: €67, €84, and €95. Each card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. There is no option to set a custom value, so the sender needs to pick whichever of the three amounts best matches their budget or the meal plan they have in mind.
A recipient redeems the card through Ruokaboksi and chooses a small box (for 1 to 2 eaters) or a large box (for 3 to 5 eaters, or for batch cooking). Each delivery includes the selected meals. Buyers should know that the card covers the cost of the boxes, but there is no separate rule published here about top-ups or partial payments, so it is safest to tell recipients to treat the card as a single-use credit against their Ruokaboksi order.
The card is a good fit for Finnish recipients who cook at home and would see the weekly box as a genuine convenience. It is less suited to remote or international groups because delivery is limited to mainland Finland, and it is not a general grocery card. For a business sending payouts to people across Finland, the card turns a payment into something that reduces their food planning work, which can be more motivating than cash.
GIFQ lets you send Ruokaboksi Finland cards in bulk from a dashboard or one at a time through an API. A research team might use them to compensate study participants after a multi-week food diary, while a company might reward a customer service team with a few weeks of dinners. Because the card is tied to Finland and EUR, it should only be sent to recipients with a Finnish delivery address.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Review the expiry information shown and the brand’s instructions. Check whether redemption requires an account or a particular channel. Deliver those instructions with the reward so the recipient knows how to use it.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
