About Starbucks
For many recipients, a Starbucks card means a coffee break that is already paid for. Starbucks is a global brand with strong local appeal: in some markets it is an everyday stop, in others it is a treat or a status symbol. That makes it a flexible reward for teams, customers, research participants, and affiliates, especially when you need to recognize people across more than one country.
GIFQ offers Starbucks cards in Canada, Germany, South Korea, Kuwait, Mexico, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Each market is its own separate card, issued in the local currency and redeemable only in that country. A card bought for Canada cannot be used in a Starbucks in Germany, and a card for Kuwait cannot be spent in the UK or the UAE.
Amounts and expiry differ by market. Some cards let you choose any amount within a range: Canada, the UK, and the USA allow any value between their minimum and maximum. Others come in fixed denominations, such as 20 EUR in Germany, 10, 20, 30 or 50 KWD in Kuwait, or 10,000 to 50,000 KRW in South Korea. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE cards are valid for six months; most other markets have no expiry. Check the individual market pages for the exact options and rules.
To choose the right market for a recipient, use the country where they live or work. The card is only usable in that country, so issuing a card in the recipient's local currency avoids confusion and wasted value. If you reward people across several countries, GIFQ lets you send each person the right Starbucks card from a single dashboard or through the API.
Starbucks works well for day-to-day recognition, milestone rewards, and as part of a larger payout strategy. A coffee reward feels personal without being intrusive. For businesses that pay in multiple currencies, Starbucks offers a known brand with local purchasing power, helping you keep rewards consistent while respecting local preferences.
You can send Starbucks cards in bulk from the GIFQ dashboard or one at a time through the API, so the same Starbucks card can serve a one-off thank you or a recurring weekly reward. Pair it with other brands or use it alone; it's a practical choice when you need a widely accepted, low-friction reward that people already understand.
