Practically, the card works like cash at The AFL Store. It cannot be exchanged for cash or used to pay off accounts, and it will not buy match day tickets. If a purchase is smaller than the card balance, no change is given; the remaining amount stays on the card for next time. A recipient who loses the card loses the value, so telling people to treat it like a ticket in their wallet is worth doing.
