About The Global Experiences Card
The Global Experiences Card lets a company give someone the freedom to pick a tour, a class or an activity rather than a physical product. Powered by Viator, a Tripadvisor company, it opens up a catalogue of more than 350,000 experiences in over 120 countries, from sightseeing and theme parks to food tours and spa days. For teams, research participants, customers or partners, it is a reward that feels closer to a memorable event than a standard gift card.
GIFQ offers this card in 11 markets: Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Each market has its own card denominated in the local currency: AUD, CAD, EUR, SEK, GBP or USD. A card issued for one of these markets cannot be redeemed as the card of another. If you pay a recipient in Sweden, you need the Sweden card; if the same person moves to Germany and wants to book in euros, that would be a different card.
The amount and currency are set per market when you send the card. For example, the Australia card can be loaded with any value in a range such as AUD 25 to 700, while the EU countries each allow EUR 25 to 500. Exact ranges, plus redemption terms, are on the individual market pages. None of the cards expire, so recipients are not working against a deadline. Someone can hold a card until a worthwhile trip or local experience comes up and then apply it to a booking online.
The practical value for a business is that one brand works across several countries, but each recipient gets a card that spends in the currency of their own market. A company with employees spread across Germany, France and Spain can reward them consistently without one global card that would fail at checkout in a different currency. Sending through GIFQ works from a dashboard for bulk orders, and the API offers the same card one at a time for flows where a payout is triggered by a completed action or a transaction.
The card itself is straightforward for the recipient: visit globalexperiencescard.com, enter the 16-digit code and 8-digit PIN, and apply the balance as full or partial payment for a booking. If the card does not cover the full cost, the remainder can be paid by credit card. That flexibility makes it a solid option when the reward needs to feel personal but the administration has to stay simple.
