TheFork gift cards by market

About TheFork

TheFork is a restaurant reservation platform owned by Tripadvisor. A TheFork gift card gives the recipient a meal at one of the partner restaurants available on the app, from neighbourhood bistros to fine dining. It is a reward that tends to land well with almost anyone: everyone eats, and a restaurant visit feels more like a treat than a transfer of cash.

GIFQ offers TheFork cards in three countries: France, Spain and Italy. All cards are denominated in euros, but each market is its own card. A card bought for France will not work in Spain or Italy, and vice versa. The amounts and expiry are set per market too, so check the individual market page before you order. As examples, in France you can send any amount between 5 and 150 euros, while in Spain the options are fixed amounts from 10 to 100 euros. All cards are valid for 18 months from the date of issue.

To choose the right market, look at where the recipient lives or will be dining. A recipient in Madrid should get a Spain card, a recipient in Lyon a France card, and so on. If someone travels frequently across more than one of these countries, the card will only be usable in the country you select, so you may need to split the value across two cards or pick the market they are most likely to use.

This card works well for employee rewards, customer incentives, research participant compensation, or creator and affiliate payouts in these three countries. Because it is tied to a specific activity, a meal, it can feel more personal than a generic cash transfer. If you are paying people in several of these countries, you can order the right market cards for each recipient from a single GIFQ dashboard.

GIFQ lets you send TheFork cards in bulk through the dashboard or one at a time through the API. It is a straightforward way to handle multi-country rewards and payouts without setting up separate contracts or integrations for each country. The cards are digital, so they can be delivered by email or through your own system, and the recipient receives a code to add to the TheFork app.
