You can issue any amount between $5 and $500 AUD, so the card scales from a small coffee-and-ride thank you to a substantial payout. The card expires 36 months from activation, and any balance left after that is not refunded or credited. It is non-reloadable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by Australian law.

To redeem, the recipient opens the account menu in the Uber or Uber Eats app, goes to Wallet, adds funds to their Uber Cash balance, and enters the gift code. The value is then available for rides or food orders. There is no physical card to post, and the code is added in seconds from a phone.

This card is strictly for Australia and is not interchangeable with Uber gift cards for other markets such as New Zealand or the United Kingdom. If you have recipients in other countries, you will need the relevant market card for each.
