Uber Ecuador gift cards

The Uber gift card for Ecuador is denominated in US dollars, the currency used in the country. It is redeemed in the Uber app and can be used for rides in Ecuadorian cities where Uber operates. This makes it a fitting reward for people who regularly travel by car within Quito or Guayaquil.

You can issue any amount from $10 to $250. The card terms do not specify an expiry, so the code should remain valid until redeemed. It is not reloadable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Redeeming is straightforward: the recipient goes to the Payment section in the Uber app, taps Add Payment Method, selects Gift Card, and enters the gift code. The value is then available for ride payments.

This card works only in Ecuador and is not interchangeable with Uber gift cards for other countries, even those that also use USD, such as El Salvador or the Dominican Republic.
