About Uber Rides Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic edition of the Uber Rides card adds balance to a recipient's Uber account for rides with Uber or food orders with Uber Eats. It only works in this country, in cities where the apps are available and no legal restrictions apply. A recipient must have an active, valid Uber account to use it.
Values are set in Dominican pesos. You can choose any amount from 500 DOP up to 15,000 DOP, which covers a short ride to a substantial travel credit.
To redeem, the recipient opens the account menu in the app, taps Wallet, taps Add Funds on the Uber Cash card, taps Gift Card, enters the code and taps Add. The balance then sits in the account for future use. This card is not interchangeable with the separate Uber Rides cards for Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the USA.
