About Uber Rides United Kingdom
For a business sending value to people in the UK, an Uber Rides card is a practical way to cover a journey or a meal without asking for receipts. The balance is added to the recipient's Uber stored value account, accessible through the Uber or Uber Eats app, so it can be tapped for a quick ride across London or a food order from a local restaurant. This is the United Kingdom edition only, and it is not interchangeable with the Uber Rides cards for Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, New Zealand or the USA.
Face values are in British pounds, with any amount from 5 to 150 GBP available. That range suits a small thank-you for a user test or a larger reward for an employee who travels for work. The card has no expiry date, so the recipient can hold the credit until it is needed.
To use the card, the recipient adds the code to their Uber or Uber Eats app, and the value appears as Uber Cash to be applied to rides or orders. A secondary payment method may be required, which is standard for Uber accounts. Non-redeemed cards can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase; once redeemed, no refund is made.
Through GIFQ you can send this card in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time via the API. It works well as a payout for gig workers or research participants based in the UK, or as a flexible reward for a distributed team.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Review the expiry information shown and the brand’s instructions. Check whether redemption requires an account or a particular channel. Deliver those instructions with the reward so the recipient knows how to use it.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
