About Uber & Uber Eats Japan
This card is for Japan only and adds value in Japanese yen to an Uber account for rides and Uber Eats deliveries. It works through the Uber app or the Uber Eats app and website in Japan, in areas where those services are available.
You can choose any amount from ¥100 to ¥50,000. The card is valid for three years from the date of purchase. The full amount must be loaded into your Uber Cash account when you redeem it.
To redeem, the recipient updates the Uber app, taps the account icon in the top right, selects Payment methods, then +Gift card, and enters the gift code without spaces. The balance goes into Uber Cash.
Businesses in Japan can use this card to compensate contractors, reward employees, or pay incentives. GIFQ enables sending it in bulk through the dashboard or one at a time via the API.
