The Vintrica E-vignette is a CHF 44 digital credit for the Swiss motorway vignette, issued to a specific vehicle licence plate and valid for three months once activated. For a business sending rewards or payouts to people who drive in Switzerland, it removes a real annual nuisance: no sticker to affix, no risk of a fine at the border, and no need to queue at a post office or petrol station. The recipient simply redeems the code online and the vignette is linked electronically to their plates.

This card makes sense when the recipient owns or regularly uses a Swiss-registered car or motorcycle. It is a poor fit for remote workers, non-drivers, or staff based outside Switzerland, since the vignette cannot be transferred to another plate once linked and cannot be used for public transport. It is equally unfitting for recipients in countries that would never drive on Swiss motorways.

The voucher code is redeemable only at vintrica.com/gutschein and must be activated by 30 November 2025. After activation, the three-month validity starts immediately, so it is best sent when the recipient actually plans to drive, not as a long-term store of value. The code cannot be exchanged for cash, and one code covers one vignette.

Through GIFQ you can send this card in bulk from your dashboard or one at a time via API, which works well for paying field staff, compensating research participants who travel, or rewarding a Swiss sales team that spends its days on the motorway. Because the face value is fixed at CHF 44, you cannot adjust the amount, but you can send multiple cards if you need to cover a longer period.

Note that this card is specific to Switzerland and works only there. It will not cover motorway tolls in other countries, even though vintrica sells vignettes for other markets.
