About Vodafone Egypt
Vodafone is a major mobile operator in Egypt, and this card is a prepaid recharge for a Vodafone Egypt number. It makes sense when your recipients are in Egypt and need mobile credit: paying research participants for their time, covering call costs for a remote team, or rewarding customers who use their phones heavily.
Face values are fixed at EGP 50 and EGP 100, with no custom amounts. The card is valid only in Egypt and is not interchangeable with the Vodafone Germany card, which uses EUR and different denominations.
To use the card, the recipient dials *858* followed by the secret code and # to recharge. The balance can be checked by pressing *868*1# or dialing 868. The card must be used within 7 days of receiving the email, and it cannot be returned or refunded if lost, stolen, or damaged.
The 7-day usage window is the main limitation. This card is best when delivery and redemption happen quickly, such as a timed incentive or an immediate payout. It is not suitable for long-term stored value.
