The category has more than 20 brands, most of them specific charitable organizations or donation platforms. WWF cards support wildlife and environmental conservation in several countries. Girls Who Code funds programs that teach girls computer science, a focused choice for a technology company's social mission. GlobalGiving lets recipients direct funds to a variety of grassroots projects worldwide, giving them a sense of agency. Charity Choice and Charity on Top are multi-charity platforms in North America, ideal when recipients have different interests. EcoTree plants trees in Europe, appealing to organizations with net-zero goals.

Norway has the most brands in this category, followed by the United States and Sweden. Germany, Denmark, and the United Arab Emirates each offer a couple of options. Coverage varies by charity: a GLAAD card works mainly in the United States, while Kreftforeningen is specific to Norway. Face values are modest, as is typical for donation cards. In Norwegian krone, cards range from 50 NOK to 5000 NOK. US dollar cards start at 5 USD and go up to 500 USD. Euros run from 10 EUR to 500 EUR, and Swedish krona cards span 50 SEK to 5000 SEK. These amounts cover a symbolic contribution up to a substantial grant, but not every charity offers the full spread.
