Airbnb Netherlands gift cards

For people in the Netherlands, the Airbnb gift card is a way to give a stay or an activity rather than another thing. It works for residents of the Netherlands and other participating European countries, covering bookings on the Airbnb website or app. Recipients can put the credit toward a weekend in a Dutch city, a longer trip abroad, or an Airbnb Experience like a guided tour. That breadth makes it a strong choice when you want a reward that adapts to what the person actually wants.

The card is issued in euros with two fixed face values: €50 and €100. There is no way to set a custom amount. The balance never expires and there are no fees to purchase or activate it. Those fixed tiers keep budgeting simple, but if your reward program uses other amounts you will need to work within them.

To use the card, the recipient creates or logs into an Airbnb account, goes to airbnb.nl/cadeau, and follows the prompts. The full gift card code is entered where a PIN is requested, and the credit is applied automatically at booking. The card cannot be reloaded, refunded, returned, resold or exchanged for cash, except where the law requires otherwise.

Airbnb issues separate cards for other markets, including Belgium, Germany and the UK. This Netherlands card is not interchangeable with those. Through GIFQ you can send it in bulk from the dashboard or one at a time through the API, which works for paying out earnings to Dutch workers, rewarding a local team, or compensating research participants.
