About Global Hotel Card Powered by Expedia
Global Hotel Card Powered by Expedia gives recipients access to a wide range of accommodation: hotels, resorts, holiday rentals and private homes in more than 200 countries. For a business, it is a practical way to give someone a travel credit they can use on their own schedule and in a place that suits them, rather than tying them to a single hotel chain or destination.
GIFQ offers this card in six European markets: Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovenia and Slovakia. Each market has its own euro-denominated card with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 1000 euros, and any amount between those limits can be loaded. Cards do not expire.
Every market card is separate. A card bought for Estonia is not redeemable against the Croatia card, and so on. When you choose a market, you are choosing the currency and the residence country of the recipient. For example, someone living in Lithuania should be sent the Lithuania card, which is loaded in euros and redeemed at www.globalhotelcard.com with a 16-digit code and PIN.
The market pages list each country's full details, including amount range and redemption steps. For instance, the Croatia card can be loaded with any amount from 50 to 1000 euros and has no expiry. Use those pages to confirm the specific rules before ordering.
Through GIFQ you can send these cards to people in any of the six markets. The dashboard supports bulk sending for payroll, contractor payouts or customer rewards, while the API lets you issue cards one at a time from your own systems. This works well for paying remote workers or freelance partners in each country, or for rewarding employees with a travel credit that covers everything from a city hotel to a countryside apartment.
