Nintendo Switch gift cards

Nintendo Switch cards are a good fit when you want to reward or pay people who are already into console gaming. The card is a code redeemable in the Nintendo eShop, and it gives the recipient a Nintendo Switch Online membership. That includes online multiplayer, a growing library of classic NES, Super NES and Game Boy games with added online modes, cloud backup for save data, the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app, and offers reserved for members.

GIFQ offers the Nintendo Switch card in four markets: Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. Each market has its own card. A card bought for Spain can only be redeemed in the Spanish Nintendo eShop, and the same goes for the other countries. The amounts, currency and redemption rules are set per market. All four markets use EUR, and the cards come in two fixed amounts, 7.99 and 19.99. The 7.99 amount corresponds to a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription. There is no custom amount option.

When you send a Nintendo Switch card, pick the market that matches where the recipient has their Nintendo Account and where they will use the console. If you have people in several countries, you will need to send the card for the right market to each person. The cards are not interchangeable, so a code bought for France will not work for someone whose account is registered in Italy.

Businesses use these cards through GIFQ to pay out earnings or incentives in local currency. For example, you might send a Nintendo Switch card as a bonus to a remote worker in the Netherlands, a payout to a contractor in Spain, or a customer reward for a promotion running in France or Italy. You can send cards in bulk from the GIFQ dashboard, or one at a time through the API.
