About Transcash Mastercard EUR

Transcash Mastercard EUR is a reload voucher for Transcash cardholders: instead of sending a one-time gift card, you send a code that tops up a prepaid Mastercard the recipient already holds. The card works anywhere Mastercard is accepted, online and in physical stores, across the Eurozone, and the holder stays in control of how and when they spend the balance. That makes it a natural payout for freelance earners, research participants, or anyone you already pay in euros.

Amounts are fixed at 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, or 500 euros, and the voucher has no expiry. The recipient must already have a Transcash card; to redeem, they log in to their Transcash account, go to the Rechargement section, and enter the coupon code they received by email. That adds the amount to their card balance. If they don't have a card, they'll need to get one first from Transcash, which requires registration.

There are limits to note. This is not a standalone gift card you can hand to anyone: it only loads an existing Transcash card, and the card is issued in France. For recipients elsewhere in the Eurozone, the card still works for spending, but acceptance and any local restrictions are the recipient's responsibility. If your people are in France, this is a straightforward, familiar option; elsewhere, check that they're willing to set up a Transcash card before you commit.

GIFQ lets you send Transcash reloads in bulk from the dashboard or through the API. Use it to pay earnings to people in one of the 27 supported countries, to reward a remote team with a flexible spending card, or to compensate usability-test participants with something more useful than a voucher for a single shop. Because it's a prepaid card, recipients don't need a bank account or a credit check, and you don't need their banking details to send it.

One thing to keep in mind: Transcash is not a bank and the card is not a credit card. It's a prepaid instrument, so the balance is what's been loaded. There's no overdraft and no credit line. For a business, that can be an advantage: you know exactly how much you've made available, and the recipient can't spend more than that.

From product selection to delivery

For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.

  1. Check the market and value

The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.

  2. Prepare the recipient’s instructions

Use the brand’s instructions to prepare a clear handover to the recipient, including any account or redemption-channel requirements. Ask our team about expiry if it is not listed, then include that information with the reward.

  3. Choose direct ordering or recipient choice

If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.

  4. Start with a small order

Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.

Frequently asked questions

Where can the Transcash Mastercard EUR be used?

The Transcash Mastercard can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, online and in physical stores, in the 27 Eurozone countries covered by this card: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia.

What amounts can I send, and does the balance expire?

You can reload between 20 and 500 EUR, in fixed amounts of 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, or 500 euros. The reload voucher has no expiry date, and once loaded onto a Transcash card, the balance does not expire either.

How does the recipient redeem the Transcash reload?

The recipient must be a Transcash cardholder. They log in to their personal Transcash page, go to the Rechargement section, and enter the coupon code they received by email. The amount is then added to their Transcash card balance.

Can I send this to someone who doesn't have a Transcash card?

No. A Transcash reload voucher can only be loaded onto an existing Transcash card. If the recipient doesn't have one, they would need to obtain a Transcash card first, which is issued by Transcash in France and requires registration.

Can I use Transcash Mastercard EUR to pay people in bulk through GIFQ?

Yes. GIFQ lets you send Transcash reloads in bulk from the dashboard or via API. This works well for paying freelancers, research participants, or remote teams across the supported countries, provided each recipient has a Transcash card.

Is this the same as the Transcash card sold for other markets?

This card is the Transcash Mastercard denominated in euros and valid across the 27 Eurozone countries listed. There are no sibling market pages, so this is the only Transcash product available on GIFQ.
