About Uber Eats

Uber Eats is a food delivery app where people order from local restaurants and have meals delivered to their door. The gift card adds value to a recipient's Uber Eats account, so they can pay for orders without cash or card. For a business, this is a practical way to give a meal on the company, whether as a perk for a remote team, a thank you to a customer, or compensation for someone who gave you their time.

GIFQ offers Uber Eats gift cards in 12 markets: Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. Each card is issued in the local currency, for example AUD in Australia, CAD in Canada and GBP in the United Kingdom.

Every market is a separate card. A card bought for Australia is redeemable only in Australia and only in Australian dollars; it will not work in Canada or any other country. Amounts, currency and expiry are set per market, so before you order, choose the card that matches the country where your recipient will use it. The market pages list the exact face values and expiry rules. As an example, the Australian card can be issued for any amount between AUD 5 and AUD 500, while the French card comes in set amounts of EUR 10, 15, 20, 30 or 50.

If you are paying people in several countries, you can order the right card for each person from one dashboard. Send Uber Eats gift cards in bulk to employees or research participants in each of their local currencies, or issue single codes through the API when a payout event happens in your own system. This is useful when you need a recognised food reward across many markets without managing a separate supplier in each country.

Uber Eats is strongest where food delivery is part of everyday life, like Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. In markets such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, it is also available but may feel like a more occasional treat. The card works for recipients who already use the app or are comfortable signing up and adding a gift card to their account.

To find the right card, ask where your recipient will order food. If they live in Mexico, choose the Mexico card in MXN. If you are not sure which country they will be in, you may need to confirm that before ordering, because a card bought for one market cannot be used in another.
