About Unimart - Barulu Costa Rica
Unimart is a Costa Rican online retailer selling laptops, phones, accessories, electronics, office supplies and appliances. The Unimart - Barulu gift card gives recipients CRC 10,000 or CRC 15,000 to spend on unimart.com. That makes it a practical choice for businesses sending rewards to people in Costa Rica who can order what they need from an established local store.
The card is issued in Costa Rican colones and works as a payment method on the Unimart online store. Recipients click a redemption link to view the card details and then apply the balance during checkout. It cannot be combined with another form of payment beyond its face value, so orders must fit within the card amount or the remainder must be paid separately.
Every card expires six months after issue. Once the balance is used up or the card expires, the code stops working. Unimart does not replace lost, stolen or altered cards, so recipients should redeem soon after receiving the code and keep it private.
This card suits teams based in Costa Rica more than remote workers elsewhere. It is only redeemable on unimart.com, and the retailer ships within Costa Rica. There is no sibling card for other markets.
Through GIFQ you can send Unimart - Barulu cards in bulk as employee rewards, customer thanks or research incentives, or integrate the API to trigger payouts automatically. Recipients get a code and redemption link by email, and the process works without physical cards.
From product selection to delivery
For a direct order, your business chooses this product, its value and the quantity. Review the card details alongside the recipient’s needs before including it in a bulk order or an integration.
Check the market and value
The card details show the values and currency for this product. Use those to choose an amount that fits your budget and the recipient’s market. For a different country, explore the brand’s other market listings.
Prepare the recipient’s instructions
Use the brand’s instructions to prepare a clear handover to the recipient, including any account or redemption-channel requirements. Ask our team about expiry if it is not listed, then include that information with the reward.
Choose direct ordering or recipient choice
If you need this particular card, order the selected product and value through the dashboard or API. If you want the person to choose the brand, confirm the options available for that payout before presenting the selection.
Start with a small order
Test the flow with a small order and keep its reference. Check the status before repeating a request that appears delayed. In an integration, connect the GIFQ order to your own record so your team can follow up on delivery questions.
